Golang Job: Senior Back End Engineer

Then we should definitely meet! For our office in Frankfurt am Main we are looking for you from now as (Senior) Backend Engineer Go / Golang (w/m/d).

Mobile working is very important at ioki. With us, you have the opportunity to carry out most of your work remotely. Thanks to numerous digital tools and state-of-the-art IT equipment, you can work from anywhere in Germany.

Your tasks:

• Develop, deploy and maintain our SaaS platform (software as a service).
• Contribute to a young Go codebase and help shape its future (from the scratch).
• Proactively communicate blockers, issues, and status for the tasks you own.
• Coordinate on engineering requirements and challenges with our vehicle partners.
• Take part in Agile activities like daily scrum, sprint planning, execution, and reviews.

• 
  Solid API design skills in Go with a knack for clean code and engineering best practices.
• Experience in designing and building distributed systems.
  
• Good understanding of HTTP, RESTful API, and web services concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud and containerization technologies, test automation tools and (CI/CD pipelines).
• Interest in owning projects end-to-end and supporting them as they go live in production.
• You have a strong passion for topics like IoT, Public Transport, and Autonomous Vehicles.
• Great English communication skills who enjoy sharing knowledge and collaborating with others.
• Experience in Python is a plus.
